Rachael Ray’s Diet – Flat Belly Diet As Seen on the Rachael Ray Show

Are you interested in trying the flat belly diet that was on the Rachael Ray Show? If so then you’ll want to read my critique review of whether this diet truly can have you losing 25 pounds in 3 weeks as they claim and most importantly will it be able to keep the weight off? I’ll explain how the flat belly Okinawa Flat belly tonic diet works and whether it really is the best new diet to try in 2009.

Rachael Ray’s Flat Belly Diet

This diet is focused on the consumption of monounsaturated fatty acids which are otherwise known as MUFAs for short. These are healthy fats that are not absorbed into the body as most other fats. They are broken down more efficiently and a majority is flushed out of the body and not stored as fat. The diet itself is excellent for those who are willing to commit to a low calorie diet (1600) for an extended period of time. The one major drawback and this is a problem with any form of low calorie dieting is that there is a rebound effect where weight is put back on again after you stop the diet at an alarming rate. There is a solution to this however, and best of all this can be done following a flat belly diet or instead of it.

The Solution to the Rebound Effect

It’s called calorie shifting and unlike all other diets, its entire focus is on targeting the metabolism and boosting it. This is a great way to stop the rebound effect after following a low calorie diet, but its even better on its own because it will take your average metabolic rate and raise it to its peak level. This effect is actually triggered through eating, although there is a special way in which you’re eating and the types of foods which create this effect. Best of all the rebound effect is negated through a continually fast metabolism that is actually stimulated by eating, you actually continue to lose weight after the diet because of this!
